An intimate documentary about an inspiring Mexican American dancer who communicates the impermanence of life through dance while juggling the roles of a recently divorced parent of a 6-year-old, a choreographer, and a primary school teacher amidst intensive treatments for breast cancer.

For the sake of their twin daughters, an Indian adoptive mother and a white birth mother venture into uncharted territory with an open adoption, crossing racial and cultural lines.

The documentary follows a visionary oncologist Dr. Ravi, a team of stalwart healthcare workers, 6 patients, their families, and the uphill task of providing cancer care in a remote outpost in Assam, India. 

1001 Breast Cancer Nights is an online portal of breast cancer stories from India: vibrant tales of medicine, myth, stigma, survival, romance, tragedy, comedy, and artistry. It will improve the understanding of the disease,  and quality of life for survivors.
